Good jobs are cornerstones for healthy communities.
The good jobs and career opportunities available in the industrial base make greater Seattle a good place to live, grow and raise a family. The MIC strives to enhance and protect that job base and the private businesses that provide it. The MIC meets this goal through pro-active interaction with public policy makers and administrators, and collective and individual efforts to benefit our members.
The MIC was founded in 1998. Almost no one who held elected office in Seattle at that time does so today. The MIC endures because of the value our members contribute to the broader community.
